Aliyah Formont is a Policy Scholar for the Life:Powered Initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Born and raised in The Sunshine State, Aliyah’s upbringing instilled an appreciation for her community and using the skills that she’s able to be a catalyst of positive change. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida where she focused her educational career on the environmental and non-profit sectors. When she’s not at the Foundation, Aliyah is typically looking for an excuse to go to Lake Travis, host a dinner for friends, or buy tickets to the next country concert in Austin.
Aliyah seeks to use her unique experiences and perspective in her role at TPPF as a policy scholar in aim to help positively impact the Lone Star State.
